Delete and restore notes
Deleted notes go to Trash first, so you can undo or bring them back.
Deleting is not final. A note stays in Trash until you remove it for good.
- Open a note’s menu and tap “Move to bin”. Tap Undo right away if it was a slip.
- To restore, open the Trash folder and tap “Restore”.
- To erase, tap “Delete Permanently” on one note, or “Empty trash” for all of them.
Good to know
- Restored notes always return to “Uncategorized”, not their old folder.
- Permanent deletion cannot be undone.
- A trashed note stops being shared by link.
