“Worth its weight in gold. Finally got me to switch from Apple Notes when I found this one. You can do so many things with your notes. You can convert them into a business-style report. You can make them into a quiz. Turn them into Flashcards. Interrogate your notes (ask questions and receive answers). Love this!”
“BrainDump has proved to be the most efficient and truly frictionless I have found for my Wordpress blogging workflow. My vision is not great, but I find both the fonts and font size adjustments quite convenient here. And when you finish brainstorming, you can arrange and merge your selected notes into one document.”
“This app is minimal but brilliant. In chaotic world on these days, I am always finding peace, simplicity and calmness and this is what I am looking for, it has no distraction and annoying stimulus, neat UI and functionalities.”
“Finally, a notes app that gets how my brain works. It's simple, fast, and doesn't overwhelm me with features I don't need. I can quickly write down thoughts before they vanish. Highly recommend.”
“Super clean minimalist UI, feels very native, I use Obsidian for study or extensive notes, and Brain dump for well.. brain dumping or temporary notes. This app is great, I love the Mac app even more. The sticky note feature is extremely useful. Syncs super fast.”
“Clean, simple, great functionality and the developer is quite amazing when it comes to updating and listening to users & their suggestions. Never going to use another note app. This is the all in one for me! Thank you for your great work!”

Questions?
Yes. Writing notes, Freewrite, folders, iCloud sync and search are part of the free Base plan and stay free. AI has a free monthly allowance, and you can keep using the free plan indefinitely.
No. Download BrainDump and you can start writing immediately, no account, no credit card, no paywall on first open. Writing notes, Freewrite, folders, iCloud sync and search are all part of the free Base plan and stay free. An account is only needed if you want to use the web app. Focus is an optional upgrade you can take later from inside the app if you want the unlimited AI tools, and you can keep using the free plan indefinitely instead.
Nothing is deleted. Your notes stay where they are, in your iCloud or in your BrainDump account. If you cancel Focus you simply return to the Base plan limits: your existing notes, folders and tags remain readable and editable, and the AI tools go back to their free monthly allowance. If you use account sync with more than 500 notes, you'll need Focus again to add new ones. You can also export everything to Markdown or Word before cancelling if you'd rather keep a copy outside the app.
Focus is a subscription with unlimited AI, including Untangle. Lifetime is a one-time purchase that includes everything in Focus except the AI tools. If you want AI with Lifetime, you can buy extra AI uses with Ink Drops inside the app.
Ink Drops are extra AI uses you can buy inside the app, for when the free monthly allowance is not enough and you do not want a subscription.
Plans are bought inside the BrainDump app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, not on the website or the web app. Download it for free, then upgrade whenever you like. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple subscription settings.
