Open a note in its own window
Pop a note out into a small window that stays on top while you work in other apps.
- Mac
Handy for keeping a list in view while you work elsewhere.
- Open the note.
- Click “Open in new window” in the editor bar, or in the note’s “Options” menu.
- Use “Size” in the window’s menu to make it Small, Medium, Large or Extra Large.
Good to know
- The window stays on top by default. Turn it off with “Keep notes on top” (⌘K).
- In the window, ⌘N starts a new note and ⌘O opens the main app.
- The Essential style hides the “Open in new window” button. See Choose a style.
