Find notes from Spotlight
Search your notes and folders from your device’s Spotlight, without opening BrainDump first.
Spotlight can find your notes and folders from the Home Screen or the Mac search bar.
- Open Spotlight on your device.
- Type a word from a note’s title or text, or a folder name.
- Tap the result. BrainDump opens that note or folder.
Good to know
- The first launch indexes everything. After that, saving or renaming a note and creating or editing a folder updates the index.
- Tags and pins are not searched.
- Results stay in your device’s own index. Nothing is sent online.
