Distraction pad
A thought pops up mid-focus? Park it here and deal with it on your break.
How the pomodoro technique works
- 1
Focus for 25 minutes
Pick one task and press Start. Work on that and nothing else until the timer rings.
- 2
Park, don't switch
When something else comes to mind, type it in the distraction pad in a few words and go straight back.
- 3
Take the break
Five minutes off after each round, a longer break after four. Then deal with what you parked.
