Use your notes in Claude or ChatGPT
Connect an AI assistant so it can search your notes and add to them.
Connect Claude or ChatGPT and ask about your notes in a chat. It needs a BrainDump account and any paid plan, Lifetime included.
- In the app, tap the face icon, then “Settings”, then “Claude & ChatGPT”. On the web, open Settings and find “Claude & ChatGPT”.
- Tap “Copy link”.
- In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector. In ChatGPT, add a custom connector in Settings. Paste the link.
- Sign in to BrainDump when asked and approve.
What it can do
- Search and read your notes.
- Save new notes, in any folder.
- Add to the end of an existing note.
Disconnect
Open “Claude & ChatGPT” again, find the assistant under “Connected assistants” and disconnect it. Access ends right away.
Good to know
- It can never edit or delete what is already in a note.
- Whether your assistant lets you add a custom connector depends on its own plan.
